After signing to YBNL Nation in 2018 under Olamide’s mentorship, Fireboy released his debut album, Laughter, Tears and Goosebumps—a no-feature masterpiece that spawned hits like Jealous, Vibration, and King. His sophomore project, Apollo, proved he was no one-hit wonder, delivering deeper lyricism and sonic experimentation with tracks like Tattoo, Champion, and Eli.

In 2022, Fireboy achieved global crossover success with Peru, a single that received an international remix featuring Ed Sheeran. The track soared on global charts, cementing Fireboy’s place as one of Africa’s most exciting exports.
