Ahmed Ololade, widely known by his stage name Asake, is one of Nigeria’s most electrifying and fast-rising music stars. With his energetic delivery, street-infused melodies, and unmistakable Fuji-inspired vocals, Asake has taken the Afrobeats scene by storm—redefining what it means to blend tradition with trend.

Born and raised in Lagos, Asake studied theater & performing arts at Obafemi Awolowo University, a background that informs his expressive stage presence and sharp visual storytelling. Though he spent years grinding in the underground scene, his breakout moment came in early 2022 with the viral success of Omo Ope, which featured Olamide. The song’s impact earned him a deal with YBNL Nation and a distribution partnership with Empire, setting the stage for a meteoric rise.

Asake quickly followed up with a string of smash hits—Sungba, Palazzo, Peace Be Unto You (PBUY), and Terminator—all of which dominated charts and clubs across Nigeria and beyond. His debut album, Mr. Money With The Vibe, became one of the most streamed African debut albums ever, topping Apple Music charts in over 30 countries and debuting on the Billboard 200.
