
President Tinubu Rewards Super Falcons After Historic WAFCON Victory

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has handsomely rewarded the Super Falcons of Nigeria following their unforgettable triumph at the 2024 Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON). The team, who recently clinched their 10th WAFCON title, was honored at the Presidential Villa on Monday.
In recognition of their dedication, passion, and history-making performance, President Tinubu conferred on each of the 24 players:

National Honours: Officer of the Order of Niger (OON)

A $100,000 cash reward each
Additionally, members of the technical crew were awarded $50,000 each.
This is in addition to the $1 million prize earlier received from the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
